Think twice before enrolling your children in this institution

As a Grade 12 student at UCT online high school, my experience has been challenging. Despite my continuous efforts to communicate with teachers, the lack of support made it difficult. Throughout the year, I struggled to make the best of my time, but the school failed to provide sufficient assistance. The inadequate preparation for exams heightened the frustration, and to my dismay, even the marking process seemed flawed. As a matric student, it felt like I was ****** of the success I achieved in mocks, where I consistently received distinctions. Unfortunately, this impacted my final mark significantly, hindering my university admission. While I don't solely blame the high school, the insufficient support, amenities, and resources were significant contributors to the challenges I faced.

I would not recommend enrolling your children in a school like UCT online unless they are ready to confront significant challenges. The absence of adequate support and the possibility of experiencing online scolding from Grade 8 through matric make it a less-than-ideal environment for their academic journey.
