Thank you to UCT OHS

Last year my daughter moved from Johannesburg to Cape Town and the education department only had space for her in Xhosa speaking schools - a language she was not fluent in. We therefore decided to give UCT OHS a chance. It was not easy at first, adjusting to this new type of schooling. After her first exams we were very worried, however, the wonderful teachers went out of their way to assist my daughter in the subjects she was struggling with, giving extra work that she could practice on and answering the many questions she struggled with. In addition, her wonderful support coach Courtney also helped show her new and different ways of learning that could help her grasp the very many concepts she was learning a lot easier. All of this paid off and my daughter passed her first year and is now in Grade 9. I thank the Lord for giving us UCT OHS and the wonderful team of supportive teachers and coaches - my daughter is loving school and doing so well academically. UCT OHS has given my daughter a better chance at succeeding academically and perhaps geetting into a good university one day.
