Stick to the arrangement
A week after my son started with online high school, he got into a physical school he had been on the waiting list for. I requested immediate withdrawal which came with the 3 months notice period. As I couldn’t afford to pay two schools at the same time. I was offered a payment arrangement over 6 to 9 months. I signed the forms and submitted the same day as per the request from their finance team. The debit order payment arrangement is supposed to start 01/02/2025 but instead the monthly school fee had been trying to go off my card. The funds available on that card is only for the payment arrangement.
The 3month period should’ve been inclusive of the Jan fees as he was only enrolled for a week. But we won’t receive such graces from UCT online.
Kindly stick to the debit order payment arrangement and do not try to get the full amount via my bank card. We have an agreement in place please honour it.
Chose UCT online high school because of been backed into a corner given the educational system but the 3 month withdrawal notice is aimed to deprive parents.

We have confirmed that the refund was processed on 6 February 2025. Please note that it can take 3 to 5 working days for the funds to reflect back into the card from which the initial payment was collected from. This refund should reflect within this week.
