Make no mistake, stay away from UCT online school
Very bad online school, thier support coaches foward you predefined emails. They don't bother to read and understand your query.
Any I enrolled an A student in January. Come now she failed. I checked the exam marks and notice the capturing error on the year end report. The marks on the exam script are not the same as the one on the report. I raised this with the support coach asking the them correct the error. I also gave detailed information on the errors. To my suprised, the support coach response with a pre defined message that refers me to the appeal process which is on the 11th after the school have reopened? Anyway, my concern is that they deliberately made mistakes and when they are asked to correct they refer parents to an appeal process. How do you appeal based on inaccurate information? The school systems and support is very horrible. I didn't enjoy my December holidays for the first time and all thanks to Uct online high school.

As we have communicated with you previously, please be mindful that the report has specific weightings for specific subjects, and is a combination of the End of Year Exam and other assignments and tasks that needed to be completed and submitted. The final Term 4 may differ from the final End of Year Exam mark, due to this.
We understand your concern and would like to reiterate, that should you wish for the final grades received for your child be investigated and looked into, the appeals process needs to be followed, as this is the correct and only channel that can be taken for end of year exams and reports.
