Kudos UCTOHS
My son is in Gr.10 with UCT Online High School and we have been very happy. We had a few teething issues in the 1st term but each term I have seen dramatic improvements. What I enjoy is that the guardian portal allows me to see how my son is performing right through the school term and not just when I get the report. We enjoy seeing the pacers for the week so that he knows what he needs to complete by the end of each week. I am always in communication with his support coach Lauren and she has been absolutely amazing. We had an issue with a missed exam and this was so very quickly resolved. I could not be happier. My son is an independent learner and he has been thriving in the online environment. You need to be a proactive learner and guardian to make online schooling a success.

As you have said, it is important for parents to know that however much support we may give their child in the curriculum, at the end of the day they also have to take responsibility and discipline for their studies.
