<div>After reading many bad reviews on here, I gave UCT online high school the benefit of the doubt and proceeded to register a grade 11 learner. What a mistake. With more than 400 students in a class, it’s as if you’re nothing but a number. Their invigilator app required for exams does not work properly and guess who they blame for it? You, the guardian and the student. The support coach appears to be nothing but a bot or perhaps is trained to respond like a bot, it’s bizarre😭, I am absolutely traumatised by my experience with this institution. Their TIA app did not upload exam scripts, and despite having video evidence of the submission, they refused to accept the exam script by any other means. I was then advised by the support coach to submit an excusal, which is for when a learner missed the exam, despite providing actual video of the student attempting to submit the exam…and they denied the request. This means that the student now has to receive a zero mark for two exams when they made every attempt to submit the exam. They do not take responsibility and do not offer solutions, they will instead blame everything on you. If you’d like anxiety, stress and trauma then UCT online high school is the right institution for you. To the institution itself: The manner in which you play with the students academic future is appalling. I hope you fix this in future. I deeply regret my decision to register with you.</div>

26 Mar 2025, 21:40I literally have videos on two separate occasions where your TIA app failed to upload the exams and you insist that the error lies with us? The only time you reply is on here, the communication with the team via these formal channels you mention is poor to say the least.

Thank you for your feedback. We acknowledge that you sent the Support Coach videos of the error that your learner experienced.
We can confirm that our team responded to you and your learner timeously to ensure troubleshooting steps to successfully write the Cycle Tests.
For Mathematics, your learner contacted our team after the paper uploaded time concluded. As explained by your learner’s Support Coach, we cannot do an upload for this paper as we did not receive the PDF version of the paper from your learner on the day of the error. Additionally, we unfortunately do not have evidence of the error experienced while uploading the Mathematics Cycle Test.
We received the Accounting Cycle Test and informed you and your learner that we would take it forward with our technical team for their review and potential upload.
As a reminder, learners are expected to stop writing as soon as the timer ends, with the final 10 minutes reserved specifically for scanning and uploading. Using that time to continue writing unfortunately results in the test timing out before the upload is complete.
We encourage our learners to share any errors or issues as they happen as this will ensure timeous troubleshooting assistance.
