Bad experience with UCT online High School
UCT online high school has failed my expectations from what we were promised at the beginning of 2022. My daughter has suffered much anxiety with the pressure that the kids are made to undergo in this school. I did not experience much support from the so-called support coaches which I felt they were messengers between departments and not actually doing much to support the kids. My daughter has never produced bad results ever in the history of her schooling, yet through UCT her performance was bad from the first term until the last with not much help from the teachers to assist in improving her grades. UCT should rather consider a virtual live classroom rather than to let students find their way around their academics. I really will not be recommending this school to anyone.

We constantly welcome and encourage feedback from our learners and guardians, and some of the core enhancements that we will provide from 2023 onwards, are based on this feedback. We are introducing a range of enhancements for learners who find studying online challenging, which we are confident will assist them to keep up to pace in moving through the school year. We will also be launching a guardian mobile app which will greatly assist guardians in supporting their learners, which is a key component to ensure success in the online learning environment.
