I hired equipment from the service provider the first time and everything was fine, after the event he did not pay back my deposit however three weeks later i hired again and he called to say that he does not have transport so i should organise myself because it was short notice. I organised my own transport and when my husband went to collect he was accused by the helper of being drunk and the owner of the business called me to reiterate the helpers allegations and he said that i should give him R5000 for him to release the equipment otherwise he is not giving me the equipment. So we left the equipment and used another service provider - By the way my husband does not drink at all. I then requested my deposit and till today a month later Rean Van Bergen from Unique Cater And Party Hire has not returned my deposit or made any communiction to indicate intent.
