Absolutely Appalled

<p>Good day,</p> <p>I just wanted to let you know how absolutely appalled I was this weekend when I took my family from KZN to your premises this weekend. We drove into the farm, headed straight for the lodge and were informed upon arrival that for all of us to go in would be just under R800 (not a problem, when I called earlier I was informed of R80p/adult and R40p/child). We were then informed that we would not be able to drive through the premises due to rhino poaching and would have to pay an ADDITIONAL R150p/p to be paid if we wanted to go with the Ranger bakkie. NO WHERE was there a sign board informing me of this and when I called I was also NOT informed of this! I understand that we need to protect our rhino population but the least that could happen was that you would inform and make customers aware of the current situation. We were informed that we could take a walk through to the Tigers but couldn't even find the Tigers and we were not even offered a foot walk around the cages by a Ranger or by anyone. This is extremely poor service and I have always loved your premises and this would have been our third trip to your establishment (first time for my brother and his family) - can you imagine the humiliation that was bestowed upon me when we get there after all the raging about how absolutely amazing and beautiful it is for us to make it to the bar and not able to go through for the game drive...</p> <p>I am extremely disappointed! And so is my family. Just under R800 plus cash spent on drinks... over a thousand rand later and all we got to do was drive in, see the bar and left... truly sad.</p>
