TYRES AND MORE MIDRAND-*********** & MONEY SHORT

Our vehicle was handed in to Tyres & More Midrand during week one of March this year. The repair was a Head Gasket. It was a month before lock-down approximately. They quoted 12,000zar which we accepted at the time. Since then Tyres & more MiDRAND has not completed the job. We have been drawn into a financial argument between Tyres and More Midrand and the franchise owners brothers company (from where we acquired the vehicle as a trade in for our truck).

Its now July 2020 - Tyres and more asked for money to pay engineers - Their franchise policy for INVOICE & SETTLEMENT clearly defines invoice AS SETTLEMENT DUE BY CUSTOMER AFTER THE JOB IS COMPLETE.

I have told Tyres and more MIDRAND that they are not capable of carrying out the job. I have cancelled weeks ago.

Each month they seem to hire a new manager . The new manager emailed me to say that they want to charge storage fees for the car (CAN YOU believe that). He also asks for funds for the engineer (Lord knows whom this famous engineer is) - YET TILL DATE THEY STATE THAT THE GASKET HEAD IS WITH THE engineer. In contrast to that the previous point of contact told me that they are only waiting for gasket seals/rings.

Its UNBELIEVABLE. 1.)A normal service provider quotes CLIENT. 2.)CLIENT accepts. 3.)Work commences efficiently (one month before LOCKDOWN COVID 19) - 4.)Client inspects & pays. This company has behaved although they are doing us a favor . The quotes itself that was furnished is a clear PENALTY.
