Ridiculous prices and ****py attitude

Terrible service. I went to Tires and More Alberton yesterday to fit 2 new tires as well as do wheel alignment. Luckily I know someone who works at Bridgestone that was able to help me organise tires at a reasonable price. I explained to the sales agent what I was looking for and he promptly advised that it would cost R700 - I then looked up at their pricing board to see how it could possibly be so expensive as that is almost what I paid for the tires alone. Wheel alignment @ R300 and R200/tire to fit and balance, I then asked the sales agent why is it so expensive, and sadly the second salesman at the counter rep**** in an extremely rude tone: "It's labour, a new valve, we ONLY fill our tires with nitrogen, do you have a wheel balancing machine at home?". So not only are we exploiting people for every dime we can but the attitude behind it is disgusting to say the least. During this economic crisis people barely have the money for the bare necessities, never-mind anything up and above. Luckily a friend of mine advised that there is a really good place in Kempton Park - Dunlop on Monument Road, I called them, a friendly salesman answered and withing 30 seconds I was able to knock the price down from R700 to R370. I would not recommend Tyres & More at all unless you have money to burn and enjoy ****py attitudes.
