Rather deal with a mechanic next to the road

Having to change the brakes on our Kia Sportage, we went to tyres and more Garsfontein who quoted just under 10k for the brakes. One week after the job was done, i called to query a grinding sound and was advised by Cornel, that it's normal and will calm down. This got progressively worse and after taking it back on the 26th of January around the issue, we were told that all was in order and nothing was wrong by Andre. The brakes then started to shudder and after taking it back again today, the 8th of February, we were advised that it's due to the driving technique and the brakes are glazed. Ian admitted they didn't skim the discs and they should have. However it will cost us to have it replaced. The previous brakes lasted 93k kilometres and after 2 months these new ones are unusable and will cost another 3k to fix. The centre admits they should have done things like skim the brakes, but it is our fault. The money is paid and no amount of goodwill will bring us back, but never ever do business with tyres and more in Garsfontein.
