Dishonest Business Conduct

I was at the Strijdom Park branch on the Corner of Malibongwe Drive and Republic Road in Randburg, Johannesburg. I dealt with a salesman named Randy and a mechanic named Dylan. As a woman, I find it difficult to trust car-related businesses in general but this particular branch of Tyres & More has the potential to ruin the franchise. I went in to have my tyres checked before I went on holiday. After running the "diagnostic" Dylan came in and said that my wheels needed replacing, all four of them. Randy then proceeded to try selling me on buying four brand new wheels for a car that was less than 3 years old, with the guise of all four wheels being warped to the point of me potentially dying tragically in the next 2 weeks unless I replace them all. The quote worked out to almost R7000 with Randy saying things like "well this is what December bonuses are for." Distraught, I left trying to figure out how I'm supposed to pay for this now. I ended up visiting a different branch of Tyres & More a few kms away, with the owner and mechanic of that branch telling me that there's nothing wrong with any of my wheels or even my tyres. I don't know what I would've done if I had believed the ***** at the Malibongwe branch. Would NOT recommend.
