OVER CHARGED AND BAD SERVICE AT TYREMART

I went to get a damaged Continental tyre replaced on a mini cooper countryman. This was an insurance claim. Upon arrival the salesman assessed the trye and took certain measurements as required by the insurance company. the salesman forwarded the invoice and all requirements to the insurer for preapproval as I waited. the invoice was never shown to me prior to it being sent to the insurer. there was pretty much very little communication regarding the amounts and the filling in of the claims form. The salesman informed me that he had ordered the tyre which was out of stock and would be delivered to them that afternoon or the next morning. I informed the salesman that I had to be in Durban later that day so was hoping the tyre could be replaced as soon as possible. but since the tyre was not in stock I drove back home with a punctured run flat tyre and called to check that same afternoon if the tyre had been delivered and was told to come the next morning, so I shifted my work travel arrangements to the next morning hoping the tyre would be sorted the next morning. at this point the insurer had sent me a msg stating that only 60% of my claim on the invoice would be paid. from that msg I then figured out that the total cost of the tyre should have been R3400 since the insurance stated that they would only be paying R2100 leaving me with R1300 to pay off the balance. I knew that the trye was R2700 so I was amused. I called other tyremart branches to enquire and they all quoted be R2700. so the next morning I returned to the Randburg Tyremart brunch to find out if the tyre had been delivered and also to ask about the R700 extra that I was invoiced. the salesman said the trye was still on its way and that he had ordered it from another retailer and not from Continental tyres seeing that I was in a hurry that is why the invoice ended up being R700 more. I asked why I was not informed prior to him sending the invoice to my insurer as he can not just assume I am ok with incurring an extra R700 for the tyre to arrive earlier which infect was not true because the tyre had still not arrived the next morning. the salesman disregarded my complaint and made it seem like I was the cause of my problems. he then cancelled what I think is a ********** invoice and resubmitted another invoice to my insurer with the correct amounts this time. I spent the whole day parked outside the Randburg tryemart in the sun waiting for my insurer to cancel the old claim and approve the new one that had been sent. after the insurer reapproved the new claim, only then could the tyre be fitted. I spent 5 hours waiting .I missed out on a whole day's work as I am paid commission on work done. this incidence not only caused me a great deal of emotional stress but aslo affected my income for the work I was to do that day. the salesman's name is Greg. please address this matter
