Tyre Mart Boksburg North

I had a problem with Tyre Mart in Boksburg North with the new owner and his wife the receptionist from the beginning. I have called in advance and asked for 3 new tyres, the wife was very rude and aggressive over the phone and could not assist me when it came to anything about tyres. The owner called me and apologized for his wife being rude as they are new owners and she is new and her first time. I then placed the order and came in the next day. Upon my arrival, the tires that they ordered for me was the incorrect tyres to which they then said it's the latest ones and that I should take it. I did some research and decided to take the tyres. The problem started with them damaging all 4 of my rims when purchasing 3 new tyres. When they balanced my tyres, they used a very sharp and damaged putty knife (see the pics) to take out the previous weights on there which caused major scratches on the inside of my rim. They did not use the prescribed tool that other places usually use to take out the weights causing major scratches on the inside. When I asked about this, they did not want to take liability started being very rude and told me that you normally use a damaged putty knife to take the weights out. I couldn't believe this and questioned the owner over the phone as he was not present on if this is normal protocol. He was very aggressive and descriminating and stated that it is normal protocol to use a damaged putty knife and thereafter began to swear me out of nowhere belittling me stating that I am not an inspector and that I shouldn't question such things, after abrupt rudeness from the owner, they agreed to fix the scratches on condition that he takes off the new tyres, puts the old ones back on and that I should go as he doesn't need my money. Shocked by this answer and how bad-mannered the owner was, I then responded that it is fine and that I will be taking my business somewhere else. I thereafter saw them taking pictures of my car and my dad and myself. I then took pictures of the damages they did on my rims and the tool they used that damaged it as well as the name of the company outside to leave a review on Hello Peter and Google. They then told me that my car is not going to move because I have taken pictures until the owner arrives to "sort me out". I then called the owner to ask why is he not letting my car go to which he then violently swore me over the phone saying that I have been taking pictures of his wife and everything else and that he is going to "F me up" and bring a security company to arrest me and that he is on the way. I phoned the police and they arrived on the scene and told them that they are not allowed to do that or bring a security company to arrest me and thereafter released my car. I am totally shocked and utterly traumatized by this experience at this place and would like to take this up further as I would not want anybody else to go through the same experience I went through. All I wanted was to purchase 3 new tyres and I have had the worst experience I ever had at tyre mart. Poor workmanship, bad customer service, rude and abrupt owner. Never have I ever seen or experienced a Tyre Mart this bad before and I would absolutely never recommend anyone to go there. I have wasted 5 hours at this place and have gotten no tyres and the worst experience of my life, I will never step foot in a Tyre Mart again!
