HUGE COMPLIANT TO TYGERBERG MATERNITY WARD F2

I am writing this for any PREGNANT female about to step into this hospital to give birth or have check ups done.

Warning their doctors and nurses are *********** firstly I was admitted a week ago did a prenatal check up everything was fine with my baby and myself however my BP was high and caused a concern.

They then sent me to do a ctg scan ,xray and Vq scan note I had to walk to 8th floor to 4th floor back down to 2nd floor and back to 3rd floor to high risk clinic and I was 39 weeks pregnant no assistance and just was told to go there on my own and walk in pain to do all those scans.

They then admitted me to wait on my Vq scan results and I stayed over night in ward F2 admissions 2nd floor by the maternity section the Friday I was discharged as my Vq results came back negative ,the doctor called me later that Friday stating they apologize my Vq scan results are positive and I'll need to come in Saturday to be admitted as they found a blood clot on my lungs hence the Vq scan.

How they got my results incorrect is horrific costing my life and my child's that was at risk !!

I went in Saturday and Dr stated ill be using a blood thinner used Clexane and discharged the Monday again ,Monday came and was a whole new other Dr that was over seeing me this Dr put me on Heparin Monday a whole different blood thinner which I'm aware works quicker.

Tuesday they discharged me using clexane and without checking if the clot has gone or if im okay before letting me go.

The nurses in this week I was there treated me horribly I was spoken to like animal and treated disgustingly and all other ladies as well ,you given food as if you a prisoner for us that pay TAX this is the service we get its horrible.

Ladies were placed in the ward to come back on certain dates,some over due as well to be induced or have a c section and they waited a week tk be helped and when they go into labour they leave you as is and don't assist when you throw up you must clean it up yourself Its horrific what this people do to human beings sies for their staff !!

I would NOT ADVISE ANYONE to go to TBH ever your life's at risk and you get treated with no respect at all I hope someone sees this and rather go to a different government hospital where I know it won't be as bad as this hospital.

I have taken down names and pictures of the staff and Dr's and this will be reported to the department of health.

No pregnant female should be treated in that manner or be in that condition they make your pregnancy a total nightmare!!
