Abuse of elderly patients at Tygerberg Hospital

<p>My mom went in for a hip replacement operation last Monday. First they lost her false teeth so she cannot eat properly. Most of her sisters live far away and now she can't even communicate with them over the phone because her speech is too garbled without her teeth. Tonight when I visited she looked like a cancer patient on chemo therapy losing her hair. Het hair got tangled and when the nurse could not get it untangled she just wrapped all the hair around the brush and ripped it right out. This is tantamount to abuse. I am shocked at the treatment she is receiving.</p>
