TAH Bellville - YOUR FUR BABY IS ONLY A NUMBER IN A QUEUE

It probably depends on which doctor you get. And how quickly he wants to get out the door! My fur baby boy had blood drawn from his ear on the day of his appointment PLUS at his follow up appointment to give the all clear and good to go outcome. And then I realized !!! to my horror !!! my little fur baby girl did not get the same treatment at her follow up appointment - it does not even show up on her medical records that she had a follow up appointment ???!!!??? but the doctor said she was all good to go by just looking at her. She died the week after of an immune reaction to an insect bite/sting. I also suspect that she had inflammation from biltong sprinkles from Woolies (Posh Pets), that have a preservative in it that has been banned in other countries, and that made her immune system weaker/more sensitive. Still not sure why she did not get the blood transfusion to stabilize her on arrival when we were referred to go there and it was to be pre-arranged from the other branch for our arrival?! RIP baby girl - I miss you terribly and will always have to be on meds to be able to live without you taken away so very sudden and at only 2 years old x
