On the 05/05/20 this place would turn the next 4 days in sleepless nights and animal abuse that I wish no one. I have 4 Chihauhau and my jong female 1 year old, was not eating even when I gave her chicken and rise, I soon notice that she was passing fesus there where she was sleeping and could not stand up, had difficult breathing and there was blood allot of blood, I soon discovered that she had eaten unknown muchrooms that was growing on old wood. So I called the SPCA at Stellenbosch knowing that money was a problem at this time in lockdown.I was told by Stellenbosch that they where closed and that the best option will be to take here to tygerberg animal hospital and asked them to put here on a drip till next day and bring here to Stellenbosch, just so that se does not dehidrate.When I came to Tygerberg Animal Hospital at this time blood was just running out the back, and the "Vet" said that this could be becuse of an diet change.So I left her under the care of Tygerberg.So in the morning I want to collect her was said to me that it seems that se is getting better and by tommorow se would be up and running again, by this time I did not know that no test or scans was done to se wat the probleme was,she was just put on a drip and NOTHING els to determine if she internal bleeding or not.The next day 8:00 am the doctor phoned me and said this" It seems she is not getting beter and would be best if I come and collect her as I do not have the money for any tests to be done,and can fill out an form so I can pay monthly, and that was fine by me BUT I have to gibe them a deposit of R1500 becuse the bill is R3000 I could only get that R1500 the next day but I cant get my dog unless I pau the deposit and she just has to stay there untill I have the deposit.The next day the bill is noe R4500 and payed the deposit just to get my dog out of there with no inprovement.Is that not animal ubuse I ask you that is "helping" her to het better.All 4 my dog always go there and 2 of them was born there I have always payed cash, more that R40 000 I have send there with no late payment always cash.I took my dog to Stellenbosch and the Doctor there tru the pills in the bin and gave me other meds for her.So now I have to pay that R3000 otherwise they will blacklist me they said.Just so that they can make money out of an poor dog and keep as insureance untill the owner pay.Well Tygerberg Animal Hospital I m I will not pay the bill, blacklist me and I will take legal action.Please explain to me how you can or must pay an company 3 days later R4000 and get your dog back worse than se was, then take her to annother place with no money Erik Steenkamp *** B Steenkamp
