Surolan ear drops causes complete deafness in dogs

<p>WI took my dog to Tygerberg Animal Hospital for her yearly injections. She gets a light waxy buildup in her ears and I asked the vet about it as well. He recommended an ear drop for dogs called Surolan made by Elanco. He also app**** the first dose in his office. After 3 days of use I noticed that she wasn't responding to sound. I googled the the medicine and found numerous complaints about exactly the same symptoms that other people experienced with this drug. I took her back to the vet that has perscribed anti biotics and cortizone. Nothing has changed, she is now completely deaf.</p>
