exorbitant fees
Although there service is good, I really feel that they are only meant for the rich. I went for a consultation on my dogs eye and quoted a price and informed that I have to bring her in for a minor operation the next day. They quoted me a price which I was comfortable to pay after working out my budget just to find out when we had to pay that we are getting charge R700 more. How are normal salary owners suppose to afford this. I am really unhappy.

Unfortunately, like all other costs, the costs of veterinary care have increased, along with the costs on our side to be able to provide veterinary care (labour costs, electricity costs, equipment cost, medication costs). We do, however, try to restrict it to a minimum. We always advise customers to get pet insurance to assist them in times of need, as we realise how expensive veterinary care is, in general.
Price estimates can never be 100% cast in stone, as complications might or might not develop, they might discover they might need to do something extra and more. You can always send us the details to i n f o @ t a h . co. za and we can look into this case in more details in order to clarify. Could you please also know which of our practices you have visited with your pet?
