Excellent service from Two Men and a Truck - BUT cellphone ******. Be vigilant, and keep your valuable items safely locked away.

I received really excellent service from Two Men and a Truck on Thursday, 29th August 2019. However, instead of collecting my furniture at 15h45, they arrived at 13h00 - which means that I was not completely ready, and had not secured all my valuables.

I was woman alone, with the six (6) men from Two Men and a Truck, and meant that I could not keep a close eye on my items.

I had gone outside, and when I went back inside, one of the six guys came out of my bedroom (tee other five were outside at the truck) , and he looked very startled when he saw me. He then said said that he went into my bedroom to look for a carpet, but he came out of my bedroom carrying nothing (and while the carpet was still on the floor).

After he left, I checked the top drawer of the cupboard next to my bed, and one of my cellphones was missing, but thought that I may be mistaken.

That afternoon, I emailed Two Men and a Truck to tell them, and told them that I will do another search and let them know on the Monday, 02nd September. On Sunday, 01st September 2019, after an exhaustive search, I was convinced that he had taken my cellphone. It never surfaced, and was switched off immediately after he'd taken it. I also described the person to Two Men and a Truck.

My warning to persons, please secure your valuables. And, keep an eye on the persons who go into your home to remove your furniture and things. Five of the guys could be trusted. It needed just that one guy who took the chance knowing that his colleagues and I were outside, and no one else around, giving him an opportunity to look into my drawer, see my cellphone and take it. He took advantage of the chaos and the confusion which goes along with moving.
