Handed over to debt collectors when not owing a cent!

I have just been contacted by a debt collection agency with regards to an outstanding bill. 1) we do not have an account with Twisted Whiskers Pet Spa and we have always paid cash in full for services rendered by them 2) if we owed this business anything which (see point 1) makes no sense, I would immediately settle it upon getting a call or email from this company as I have a PRISTINE credit record which I maintain carefully as such 3) i checked with Twisted Whiskers front desk staff who confirmed there is no amounts owed on our dog’s profile It is UNACCEPTABLE that we have been wrongfully handed over to a debt collector potentially compromising our credit records because of an error on this company’s side. I can see why they do not have a facebook or google reviews section as businesses that mess up, never expose themselves to the court of public opinion. Fix this immediately!
