Clearo 2 a huge waste of money
<p>I've had the clearo for a few years now and love it! I wanted to buy a new battery but was advised to rather buy the new clearo 2 as the battery alone for the Clearo is R400. A few weeks later I decided to buy the clearo 2. How I wish I'd rather just bought the clearo battery. First of all, I've replaced 3 atomizer tanks as they break sooo easily. Even if it drops about 5cm's. This is in less than a month. I now wrap a rubber band around the glass. Ridiculous. Then I took my twisp to mall of Africa complaining that it's overheating, and the battery only lasts me 2 hours. The salesman told me I had to leave it with him for a few days so he could see for himself. Um, no, sorry. What other alternative do I have to use while my battery is not available?? Then the coils... they don't last more than a day, max 2 days!! They keep making vapor but the burnt chemical taste appears after day 1 of replacing it. I'm really not impressed. And yes I only charge the battery for an hour. And yes I clean between refills. You should discontinue it and rather continue with the original. I want to return it and exchange it for another device or something. It's still under warranty as I only bought it last month. Please help as I actually hate using it. </p>

For us to be able to determine what could be causing what you have stated, the device would need be assessed. This would be the only way to determine what is wrong. As the devices do come with a 6 month warranty, this would mean that if something is found to be faulty, that part is replaced for you.

While no one actually contacted me, not sure if they tried from a private number, but I don't answer private numbers, I took my twisp in yesterday to Mall of Africa and the lovely asisstant tested my Clearo 2 and there is definitely an overheating problem. Even the battery charging alone gets super hot. This could be reason why the atomizer doesnt last more than a day or 2. And also why the battery only lasted for 2 hours max. Lets hope!
So I am waiting to hear from her what the manager says, as she says it needs to be replaced.
I still ended up buying the original Clearo battery though as it really is the better device. Unless the replacement can prove otherwise.
