Worst service ever!

<p>My husband and I booked return flights from CT to JHB through TWF travel for work purposes. Due to the anxiety I experience while flying, as well for for travel convenience we requested that we be booked on the same flights. My husband's company however paid for his flights whereas I paid out of pocket. TWF confirmed the flight itinerary for us and ackowledged my payment into their account. </p> <p>The day before departure my husband receives confirmation of his flights but I did not. It turned out that despite having paid in advance, my flights were never issued. The flights my husband were issued were also not what we had requested. The weekend consultant for TWF was unable to help us without payment via credit card despite me having already paid. We had to urgently try to find flights for myself to depart the next day. The flights my husband were booked on were sold out and last minute flights on another airline was very expensive. In addition I had to ask a family member to fly with me because of my anxiety and pay for their flight as well. Immedietely on the first business day post flying (i.e. flying separately!) we contacted the manager at TWF to complain about the horrific service. We were told that the issue would be investigated and we would receive a report, as well as my money refunded. The feedback we received was that the airline was at fault, a response that appeared to absolve TWF from any responsibility. </p> <p>When booking with a travel agent rather than with an airline directly, one trusts in the individualised service and assistance the agency provides. This is what one pays for. Despite having eventually been refunded, we incured huge expenses and were fraught with extreme stress a nd anxiety through the whole experience in booking flights through TWF and trusting them with our trip arrangements. Despite them being an aclaimed company we didn't so much as receive an apology for the huge inconvenience and stress caused by them. We will never recommend TWF travel as a agency one should trust to arrange your travels, let alone important work trips. </p>
