Doubly disappointing

You know when you want someone to be good and they aren't? Isn't that doubly disappointing? Unfortunately, I was pushed into using this travel agency to make a booking through my association with UKZN. Despite the fact I had already found accommodation, this agency was not able to help secure either that nor alternatives, despite a 4 month advance warning. I was sent one quote for R60 000 for 2 people for a week, 10x what I had originally budgeted, couldn't afford, and then they could not (would not?) find an alternative. When I complained about the service to them, things did not get any better. I am sure there are lots of other UKZN affiliates who would like to complain, but if you have only 1 supplier, you don't want to annoy them... as clearly indicated by their lack of willingness to assist in the end. Terrible. Disappointing. And a review I really did not want to write.
