TV2 Engine & Geabox specialist Pretoria West **********

I bought a " quality low mileage import ingine"which has been certified and marked as tested, from TV2 Engine and Gearbox specialists in Pretoria West on 31 May 2019 for a special price of R13,500,down from R19,000 which was claimed to be May month special.On 7 June 2019 I went there in a bakkie and fetched the engine and took it to a workshop in Pretoria North to be fitted in my car,a Chevrolet Cruze.

The engine had terrible oil leaks in almost every possible place ,the tapped cover,cam shaft,crank shaft,sump and the vvti valves were broken,the workshop advised me it was a serious fire harzard to the car and I took it out of the car and returned it back to TV2 and requested them to refund me in full,we agreed and told me they did not have enough cash and will call me in that afternoon after they had made a few cash sales to fetch the cash,they did not and the following day I inquired they claimed not to have enough cash,but they are very busy and sell numerous engines and gearboxes every day,I also gave them my banking details and they promised to make an EFT to my account and that did not happen either.

Days turned into weeks and they still have not refunded me to date even after having escalated the matter to the a man who is supposed to be in charge there,I demanded the contacts of the big boss they refuse to give me and now they no longer take my calls,SMS and don't respond to my emails either .

These guys are nothing but ********** in and I am an in the process of engaging the Ombudsman office to intervene and possibly lawyers ,please be warned when doing business with TV2
