TV & VIDEO DOCTOR (132 BOTHA AVENUE LYTTLETON)

<p>I took my TV set to Tv & Video Doctor which is situated at 132 Botha Ave Lyttleton for repairs. Later i then received a call that is a power supply and it will cost R1 500 to repair, which i give then a go ahead to repair. Same day in the afternoon i was called that my Tv set was fixed and ready for collection. I was told is the power supply and has been replaced and i was requested to pay an amount of R 1 500 for their services which i did. Within a period of two days after the repair Tv set started giving me the same problems i called them and they requested that i return it for further assessment. It then stayed in for the night and again i was called to come and collect it and that it is now fixed. According to them they give a gaurantee of three months for the work done. Three months and week later my Tv is still giving me the same problem and was now worse then when i took to them for repair. i then took the Tv back and indicated that it is still giving me the same old problem, when the lady checked my records she confirmed that it came to them two times, she will let the technician to view the Tv if it needs to be fixed i will have to pay because it is out of guarantee. I told the lady that it will be unfair for me to pay because it does'nt look like the Tv set was ever fixed considering that after two days of repair it give me the same problem. I understand the guarantee issue but in this case i brought the Tv set three times for the same problem and still you expect me pay to me that looks like day light *******. It is now almost two weeks since i took the Tv back they dont say anything until i phoned enquiring progress in fixing the Tv. To me that is unprofessional let alone taking advantage of customers i cant pay for the same problem twice within a period of four months. Obviously they should have let me know from the beganning that they cannot fix my Tv unlike making me pay every three months for the same problem. </p>
