TV Repair Nightmare

<p>I took my tv in to be repaired about 4 weeks ago. They told me it would take about 2 to 4 weeks to fix. They happily gave me a quotation on the same day i took the tv in, gave me the cost of repair and the duration of how long it would take to fix it. Today, 4 weeks and two days later they phone me with "unfortuately we cant fix your tv because the parts supplier says he cannot get parts for your tv". This is the most frustrating and disgusting thing i have ever experienced. For a professional place, i'm assuming the same day you found out whats wrong with my tv you should have tried to find out if you can get the parts. This is why you give a time as to how long it will take to repair the tv. Quick to give a quote but takes 4 weeks to know you cant fix a tv. 4 weeks later they send you a meesage "Mr Maluleka your set at TV & Video Doctor is uneconomical to repair. Please collect it ASAP. A minimum workshop fee is payable". This is the most unprofessional service i have ever experience and you will be glad to know that i will spread the word of my experience and would never send anybody there for any kind of service.</p>
