<p>I'd recommend TV and Video Doctor to anyone looking for accredited professionals to work on their television set or those considering installing a DSTV satellite in the Gauteng area.</p> <p>Eric Salberg and his team has been in the industry longer than 24 years! Not only do they offer to collect your broken television set for free and return it once fixed, they also have accredited installers who are professionally trained and friendly. I know a few people personally, who started using TV and Video Doctor at their home and businesses, they have not looked for another installer/television repair specialist since.</p> <p><br />I felt the need to share this great experience with you guys, as it was amazing that we STILL experience service at this level. </p> <p><br />When my 42” Sinotec LED television showed no signs of life one morning after switching it on, I got worried that this might end up costing me a arm and a leg. As the day progressed my eye caught a fridge magnet on the side of my fridge, it was TV and Video Doctor in Centurion. I remembered that they offer to collect and deliver your television set for free as part of their service, so I decided to give them a ring. I spoke to a lovely lady on the phone who was competent and friendly, she was able to process my request very fast and before I knew it there was a team on their way to my flat.</p> <p><br />When the team of two gentlemen arrived (that same day) in their branded TV and Video Doctor bakkie, I could immediately identify a well known brand and be sure that these people are here to help me fix my television set. I accompanied them to my living room and explained that the television set was still working the day before and that it currently did not even show signs of power as the red LED light was not going on. The one installer asked me some general questions about the television set which I answered being 100% sure that they would take the set with them. He then had a look at the television set and plugged it back in, then he switched a almost hidden switch below the screen and my set was brought back to life! He explained to me that when someone cleaned the set, they did not switch it back on again, that was the cause of the dead television set. Obviously I felt a little stupid for missing that, but that switch was so well hidden that it was not possible to see underneath the screen.</p> <p><br />The installer handed me two fridge magnets smiling at me in a friendly manner. I then asked them what the damage would be for them coming out, to which they rep**** “It’s free sir.”</p> <p>Not only did they help me resolve the problem, they didn’t charge me for the call-out!
