I contacted a man named Prosper (Cell: ***) to repair my cracked TV screen after finding his number online. He responded quickly, came to my place, assessed the TV, and we agreed on a price of R2300. He requested a R1300 deposit to purchase the replacement screen.

He gave me a formal-looking invoice listing the price, deposit paid, and balance. He then said he was heading to his supplier and would return later that day to complete the repair.

He never came back. Since then, he’s either ignored my calls or made empty promises to return “soon” — yet he hasn’t pitched once. I’m now left with a half-open TV and no way forward.

This man is clearly running a **** — using **** professionalism and invoices to ***** money and vanish. I’ve opened a case and am pursuing him through legal and ***** channels.
