Never again!! Not worth the premiums I paid for six years!

This gap cover insurance is a load of bs. I've been paying my premiums for a number of years and when I had emergency procedures at hospital, no amount of documentation supp**** would result in a payment.

It wasn't rocket science, here are the receipts of the payment of two CT scans which the medical aid did not cover but I was asked for sooo much additional documentation that the Radiologists could not provide, I eventually gave up.

As with so many insurance products, you'll only know who you are dealing with once you claim and I'm ashamed to say these guys took me for a ride. Something so clear cut as a co-payment by member would not get covered. My member portion per CT scan was R1500 and Turnberry refused to pay me the R3000 in this regard.

Anyway, hopefully someone who's thinking of signing up for what seems to be a great idea will rather steer clear of these guys.
