UNRELIABLE

This is the most unreliable airline in an emergency . Literally broke my leg because of their negligence with my first step off their flight because they couldn't care less to warn me and their passengers of the step that was created as a result of the mobile stairs not being aligned with the plane . This is the most unreliable airline in an emergency . Not one person from the crew bothered to come to my assistance and couldn't have cared less . If not for my husband and some friends i traveled with , i would have been left their to my own peril . From thereon , we were left to our own devices for emergency care in a foreign country where we didn't speak the language . What a horrid airline . After spending 2 days in Iraq getting medical care , all attempts to get ahold of turkish airlines offices in Iraq or in Turkey proved futile , again the help was nonexistent. For a serious injury again due to their negligence, we only got deaf ears . On the way back after having to buy our own wheelchair and crutches , we were treated like ordinary passengers even after appealing for sympathy due to their negligence. We were forced to pay for an upgrade to be able to accommodate my broken leg . We were forced to pay for better seats given the serious nature of the situation . After we landed in Istanbul we were still treated unattentively and unsympathetically . Once again in Istanbul airport we found ourselves having to make our own way despite our numerous attempts to inform the airline they were culpable for my broken leg , again they couldn't have cared less . We could not pay for an upgrade because their wasn't any business class seats available and our attempts to block a suitable seat/s to accommodate my broken leg we were **** to and made to sit in economy class like any ordinary passenger . Through great pains we made our way to South Africa at the mercy of the Turkish Airline but only by the grace of God . What ruthless and vile people , i don't recommend this airline to anybody as nice as Turkey is .
