Unprofessional | ******** | rude | dishonest

I was transiting through Turkey, my final destination was the Caribbean in May 2021.

The boarding officer refused to let me board. He said that I could not board as I am not using Turkish airlines to fly to my final destination.

I repeated explained to him that Turkish airlines do not flight to the Caribbean and I will be using Copa Airlines and Caribbean Airlines to complete my journey.

He was rude, arrogant and abrupt, I asked him to look at my boarding pass, airline tickets, accommodation and visa's as I had all the documents with me. He absolutely refused to look at it and ensured that I missed my flights.

I was them referred to a customer care counter, who once they realised the mistake the boarding agent made, told me that they will not be assisting me or talking to me, if I needed anything I had to speak to my agent in South Africa.

I would never recommend anyone use this airlines, when I tried to do an insurance claim on the tickets I had lost, they **** and said I had insufficient documentation so the insurance company did not pay out.
