Turkish Airlines NO STAR: unprofessional, rude, disrespectful.

Turkish Airlines NIGHTMARE - NO STAR My daughter was supposed to travel withTurkish Airlines onSaturday 6 July 2019 from Cape Town Airport. She arrived first in line at the check-in desk. She knew her luggage was over-weight and was willing to pay up for that. She was on her way to a new job in Germany and her company is covering the costs. The arrangement was to claim back the moneys paid by handing in all her receipts. When she asked for an invoice for overweight payment they refused. After a long argument they told her to leave her luggage at check-in (they were ******, not long ago) and first go and pay at another desk. There the lady stayed on the phone and simply ignored my daughter untill she missed check-in time. We live 800 km away. I phoned Airport management and asked the gentleman to mediate the situation. I asked to speak to the Turkish official, upon which he shouted in the phone and walked away from the phone. We are shocked by the Rude Unprofessional behaviour. In the end they refused to let her board. Because of last minute reservation my daughter had to buy a very exoensive business class ticket from another airline. We contacted Turkish Airlines via Facebook messenger and further negotiation was promised. NOTHING was done. My advice to international travellers - DO NOT USE turkish airlines.
