Turkish Airlines - great service when we needed it the most.

We recently returned from Bordeaux. Our flight back to South Africa was via Turkish airlines. One of my friends in our group of 6, unfortunately broke her leg just below her knee, (needing an operation and pin) - just before we were due to return. Her leg had to be kept elevated and kept straight at a right angle. She had an economy ticket and needed to be upgraded to business class in order to keep her leg straight and elevated.

To cut a long story short - we were personally assisted by the South African Turkish Airlines Sales Manager (Trevor Brown). He bent over backwards getting her and her husband (who needed to assist her) business class tickets, even though there were none to be had at the time. I can only say good things about the way Turkish Airlines handled the matter and personally about how much trouble Trevor Brown went to make this happen. We are all exceptionally grateful! Thank you Turkish Airlines for your prompt, professional help and kindness shown - going beyond what you needed to do to.
