Shocking changes and delays

<p>We booked flights in May 2016 for our daughter of 19 to return home from her studies in Holland. In September we got a mail saying that there were unforseen schedule changes. This meant that our internal connecting flight was no longer valid and i had to pay in to get this changed. To play it safe her connecting flight was 6 hours later. Last night this same company delayed their flight by 2 hours initially, but the time we woke this morning it had been delayed by a further four hours, and again our daughter misses a connecting flight to Cape Town. I have for the second time had to pay for a flight change for the same flight. When asking Turkish Airlines to cancel and refund when they original changes happened they just said no this is not their policy. Last night our daughter asked for assitance with her connecting flight they just gave her a letter stating there was delays and she needed to sort herself out they were not willing to reimburse or assist. We are frequent flyers and will NEVER make use of Turkish Airlines again. To add to the bitter sweet experience a friend had to change her whole departure schedule a day before us due to changes in Turkish Airlines schedule. This is the first time we have ever had to deal with this kind of incompetence. </p>
