Ignorance of check in staff at Roissy Charles de Gaulle

When I arrive at check-in in Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport, on 27 April at 5pm, one of the staff members asked me to show him the proof of my permanent residence in my passport. I've explained to him, in South Africa, they don't do it this way. They allow people to circulate with a certified copy of the residence. My copy was done on the 14th of April and it is valid for 3 months. However, when they certified documents they never put until when it is valid for. All certified copies in SA are valid for 3 months. The Turkish airline employee and his manager were adamant that it needed a validity date..for a PERMANENT residence! I showed them on the SA government website that certified copies are valid for 3months. The manager asked for TA in South Africa to validate my document! The call took 1h30 and reached him at 6.30 pm. He said that I wouldn't be able to fly if TA in SA wouldn't give a response on time! Based on his ignorance, I could have stayed in France and engaged in hotel and transport fees! The manager said that he would get a fine in Istambul if they would reject my document! I explained from the beginning that I have been traveling as such for 20 years and 3 times with Turkish airlines and I have never experienced such a crazy story! I have almost missed my flight and ended up with a massive headache and stress because the manager and his employee were scared that maybe they would get a fine based on their ignorance and a certainly wrong attitude. In law, it is called defamation.
