appauling

Where do I start this airline is not even worth the one star. I recently flew from London Gatwick with my mum the leg from LGW to Istanbul was terrible, The cabin staff were unkept. The tray was stained with coffee and red wine, when I asked the stewardess to please clean it for me she flung me a wet wipe while chewing on gum at the same time, could see the gum in her mouth. The food was appauling, it was cold and unappetising, and we were the first to be served. Drinks were room temperature when I asked for Ice I got one block and the rest was water. My mum requested assistance and when we got to Istanbul no one was there to meet her and she had to walk with sore feet and a cardiac issue, we made our way to the assistance lounge on foot. We asked at the assistance desk for a place to buy Turkish delight and was told if she can walk they were cancelling her assistance.

The ladies toilets at Istanbul were disgraceful with no toilet paper and the floor was like a swimming pool.

When we asked where we could buy Turkish delight no one took any notice of our question and eventually we found where to go, the man on the till took my money without looking at me once and banged down the change on the counter again he was also chewing.

We were given the wrong gate number for out connection fight, it was fourtunate that the correct gate was just next door but it could have been in two different parts of the airport.

Flight from Istanbul to Cape Town wan not much better and on this long haul flight the aircon did not work and my seat did not recline got off the plane with one hell of a pain in my back

This was certainly no delight
