TURBOCARE BENONI

I recently took my X5 to them for turbo service (it had a fading sound when accelerating) and to deal with an oil leak coming from a turbo pipe. I also asked them to change the engine oil as I was advised that it was the best thing to do after turbo service. They told me that they found 3 broken studs which they said was the source of the turbo sound. They asked for additional funds to get someone to take them out. They later told me that he managed to take 2 out and could not take the 3rd one out (to their credit, they did mention that since the 3rd stud was not taken out, there might still be a little sound). On the leak, they said there was a seal that needed to be changed and I had to wait 2 additional days as they ordered it from BMW.The samp also broke while they were doing the oil change ( I think they over tightened the nut ) and they refused to take responsibility. They wanted to take it to someone who works with aluminium to weld it at my cost. They used the silicone on the crack. When the car came back, the turbo was horribly yawning, much worse than the fading sound it had when I sent the car to them. Few days later the turbo pipe started leaking again. I contacted them and they kept on telling me that they will tell me when to bring it back. I ended up taking it to the mechanic to check the turbo pipe leak as it was getting worse. He confirmed that he found silicone on the seal, hence the leak after just few days. Instead of changing the seals as they promised, it looks like they just app**** silicone and fitted the pipe back.

My experience with Turbocare has not been great. With all that had happened, I am not comfortable taking my car to them again.
