Tupperwear Kiddies Cups un-usable to to Strong Chemical Taste and Smell

I ordered 2 sets of kiddies cups online. The cups have such a strong chemical taste and smell that the kids refuse to use them as it alters the taste of the water/juice. I tried to run the cups through the dishwasher over and over hoping it would help. When it didn't I contacted Malika Hendricks on *** I was given a generic answer to check the online terms and conditions. As it was past 10 days they are unwilling to do anything about it. I asked if I was getting inferior service because I ordered online instead of through a consultant? I was under the impression that Tupperwear has a lifetime guarantee and when I have had Tupperware break I have had consultants happily replace it after being years old but they aren’t willing to replace new cups that are un usable due to the chemical smell and taste? I was given this answer. The lifetime warranty has a policy as well. I have supported Tupperwear for years and am shocked at the bad service and flat out uninterest which was not what I had come to expect from the brand. Don't buy.
