TUPPERWARE VEHICLE RECKLESS DRIVING CAUSING ACCIDENT

Tupperware's Silence is deafening. My husband's car was hit by a Tupperware Car, registration number HW 68 VZ GP Ford Figo car with Tupperware written all over it driven by Ms Nondyebo Princess Notununu from Queenstown. My husbands car was traveling straight and had right of way, instead of waiting for him to go past before making her move, she decided to go over the yellow line and cut him and then caused the accident. Our car was badly damaged on the drivers door and car not be driven on the road.

A statement was made at the Komani Police Station and the case number is available on request. There has been no communication from Tupperware at all. Ms Notununu requested for my husbands information and said it was needed by Tupperware, ID copy, Drivers license, proof of address,Insurance information including the accident report. Then there was SILENCE.

When we want information we have to call them ourselves even though the fault was on their side. Notunuza (Tupperware driver and employee) advised us to get a quotation for our car and it amounted to R+-36 000. We gave it to her and she did nothing. She requested if we are insured and asked how much our access is, we told her and she did nothing. Our vehicle is ensured. We can not afford to pay the access amount. The accident was not caused by us. The fault was clearly on Notunuza the Tupperware driver and employee. She ignored K53 rules on the road and app**** her own rules. Notunuza told us that Tupperware had a 3rd party insurance that was going to repair damages made to our car by her. We were given Marcus's number. We were told he is a broker for Tupperware insurance. He said Tupperware was going to contact us after they had paid their 3rd party insurance access and that he was waiting for proof of payment.

There has been no word from Tupperware, NOTHING. What is going on? When will our car be fixed by Tupperware's 3rd party insurance? We have no car, have a young child who goes to pre-school everyday. We are suffering because of being hit by a Tupperware vehicle. This accident by a Tupperware driver and employee has caused unnecessary pain and suffering and we are on the receiving end of it all even though we did not cause the accident. We have to pay a cab driver R80 on a daily basis to transport us to work and take our child to school. All these expenses would not have been incurred if we were not hit by your Tupperware Driver and Employee. The accident was on the 15th of September 2021, we have spent +- R 2000 on taxi cabs.

The national Head Office should intervene in this matter this does not look good for Tupperware at all. Our friends and family who witnessed and accident and know of our pain and suffering since the accident are losing their trust in this brand. Tupperware can not rest until our car is fixed and in the condition that it was in before that day when a Tupperware driver and employee broke the rules of the road (K53) and caused an accident.

Good Day Tupperware

The inconvenience that you are apologising for is still going on. The insurance company people have been silent since the 11th of December 2021 ( Oxforrd Claims and legal services). We have tried to contact them on several occasions but the emails go unanswered and the telephone calls are ignored. This accident happened on the 15th of September of 2021, until now we are still stranded because of the Tupperware reckless driver. We are without transport and left to fend for ourselves through this difficult time. This is not fair at all. Its almost 4months without our vehicle and that is not right.

PLEASE HELP US WE ARE SUFFERING!!!

Dear Zee Zee We are sorry to hear about your experience with this matter. These are leased vehicles, the drivers are not Tupperware employees. We do not have control over the insurance process once the claim has been submitted to the insurer, we have however followed up with the insurers relating to the claim and have been advised that the insurer’s legal team is in contact with you regarding the claim. Trust that your issue is resolved speedily.

Kind regards
Tupperware SA
