Tupperware is not Child Prove

I have a problem with the integrity of a product from Tupperware South Africa.

I believe Tupperware SA is selling a lie to its consumers and they are getting away with it. All I want to know what the consumers rights is in a case where a product that should not actually break, breaks and the company in question does not warranty the product against breakage.

Tupperware\Plastic should not break on impact and Tupperware knows that. But they know their product is weak and it will break on impact. For that reason Tupperware SA has put into place part of its guarantee process because they know their product is a lie. The impact process should be reviewed and all Tupperware should be guaranteed not to break on impact.

A R20 2ltr coke bottle does not break on impact why should R170 Tupperware bottle break? I believe Tupperware is misleading its customers and selling a product that is not up to the consumer’s needs.

Can you please review this products and have a standard in place when consumers buy plastic products. We all have children and they drop stuff, and Tupperware SA is not child prove.

Tupperware should not sell their products to people with children or infect they should class their product as a glass product.
