******* Eviction and Assault & Harassment

Please don't rent from TUPA. We were 10 days late on rent because the boss went away & did not pay my boyfriend. On the 10th day FIVE of Tupa's people came in and intimidated us, shouted and swore (I have a tape of it) and threatened us to leave in 3 hours. We had no place to stay so we told them that if they wished to evict us they HAVE to go through the court's for a court order. They did not want to do this cos they knew it would take long so 2 days later we get a letter of NOTICE dated 1st Mar to be out the 31st Mar saying they do not need a court order. Letter received the 15th of March. Days later Kobus of Tupa knocked on my door (I was alone) so I was alone & he ASSAULTED me - forced himself in the flat - fisted my face, slapped me - I fell and hit my head on the wall and squeezed both my arms that I bruised and said it's his flat now - he is taking over this and he wants me \f*cking\" out or else. I managed with my woman strength to push him out - he could have ***** me. Then when my boyfriend phoned they said we must be out the next am. Now they have our dep of R6700 & we need it.They told security if both of us leave they must know so they can bolt us out -they do this!"
