HIGH ELECTRICITY BILLS

As the residents of West Webb Flat are disturbed by very high electricity bills that we are receiving on monthly basis.The reading of meter is not transparent to the residents.We've complained on numerous occassions to Tupa regarding the Electricity bills and no feedabck from Tupa instead when you call Estelle who is incharge of the West Webb Building clearly tells you that no one is forcing you to stay therefore you may leave.This is the arrogance/treatment that we get from Tupa.<br> <br> On the 27th August the residents sent a complaint yet again stating that electricity was high and also stated maintenance that is never done in the building.Our request was to see the Management so that we can talk about the issues we have in the building which have escalated .We clearly said failure to come speak to the residents will result in the Agust15 rental withheld.<br> They have Not attended to thee issues but have come to the building to switch off the lights. We've received letter of demands as threats .<br> <br> WE are deeeply concerned of the way the Tupa Management is handling tenants issues .The monthly rent incl electr and other fees comes to R5000+ for 1 bedroom only.<br> <br> Tupa is *****ing us.
