Unprofessional conduct by practise staff

Please avoid this practise at all costs. I do not question the doctors qualifications or ability however the unprofessional approach in the way they treated me, from booking incorrect appointment dates and times and then blaming you for it when you turn up at the confirmed time, and especially the way they make claims on your medical aid without consulting you and explaining the costs, getting your consent, or quoting you. The first time you know about these massive additional deductions are when you receive your medical aid claim statements.. When I queried what these additional charges were for from the practise manager Maryke Lamprechts I was told it was told it was for additional scans. I went for a consult for varicose veins and ended up being scanned for neck veins. I was originally quoted for "sonar" which I understood to be whatever scans the doctor ordered during the consultation. What a surprise I got. When I queried why I was not told about the additional costs. It was suggested that I take my business elsewhere. Be very careful of dealing with this practise.
