Quality is terrible now

I’ve worn, and dearly loved, Tsonga for over 2 decades. They were absolutely the most well made sandals I’ve ever purchased for any amount of money. Sadly, that is no longer true. In fact, while they still claim their shoes are handstitched (and I have no doubt they once were), I find it extremely hard to believe that’s true now. The last five pairs of sandals I’ve purchased have had the stitching come out in exactly the same place on both shoes on every pair. In addition, the soft leather lining inside the sandals has separated from the leather on the outside - on every pair. I don’t know what happened, but their sandals fall apart faster than something you’d pay $20 for.
