Bad stitching on boots

I bought black leather boots from Tsonga and 2 weeks after I bought them, the fitting between the sole and leather opened up. I did not expect this from Tsonga boots of R2000!! I wanted to return them, but I left the box of the boots in George, where I bought them from - not thinking to fly the box back to Pretoria to take shoes back. I loved the boots and wanted to wear them. I am very dissapointed with the bad service that I received, saying they cannot return it before I did not had the box on me, and also stating that the boots are made like this. The stitching should keep the boot together, even though it's gapping on both sides.
