Filthy, Disgusting and Horrible experience

Never in my life have I had such a disgusting experience as with this one. In my wildest dreams would I never even imagine a hotel to be so filthy and almost falling apart as it is with this one. We checked in and when we opened our room door, we were welcomed by the most disgusting and overwhelming smell of mould. We wanted to switch on the aircon to try and reduce the smell of the mould, only to find that our aircon is broken - we asked the reception if they could assist us to get the aircon working, they said they will send someone to take a look - no one even bothered to show up. So we were left with a room that reaked like mould and no aircon - in the heat in JANUARY! The nightmare did not end there. I went to the bathroom and what I discovered there made me sick to my stomach. The inside of the shower was covered in black mould, all over the walls and floor of the shower was hair of someone else. The furniture in the room where the Coffee Corner is, was so dusty, I could literally write my name in the dust. The carpet in front of the mini fridge had black clods of sticky stuff on (which a assume and hope is only coffee). I went to my children's room to hear if they are settled in - but the smell of secondhand sigarette smoke welcomed me when I opened their bedroom door. The wall above the beds had some sort of liquid stains (I dont' even want to think what that is) that ran down the wall and picture above the beds?? How do you even expect a guest to stay in or pay for a facility that is below standard - actually disgustingly below standard? How do you book CHILDREN in a room that smells like sigarette smoke and expect them to sleep and breathe in that disgusting air? I cannot get my head around this whole experience as this is actually ridiculous, the more I think of this. We are not the type of people that easliy complains or make a fuss about something, but what drove me to post this review, is when I discovered more reviews on this exact same hotel on the internet, and saw that guests complained about the mould and dirty rooms 2 YEARS AGO! And still no improvement? How is this even acceptable? How do you pass your Dept of Health checks? As this is horrible, filty and disgusting!
