Worst rated camp in 10 years

We camp long term last 10 years and have exstensively travelled S.A and neighbouring countries 1. Upon arrival caretaker was not aware of our booking 2.No potable water ...we were not informed about water situation beforehand .Water extremely dirty we purchased a filter system at our own cost to try clean water for our use We installed via our own hose pipes ...we are one of the lucky campers we about 40 m from closest dirty water tap 3. Pet rules not adhered to and animal faeces a hazard 4.Sites not level as advertized 5. Sites a lot smaller than advertized 6.Security non existent as park is on main road with easy access from anyone. 7.Insufficient lighting poses risk for using bathrooms at night. 8.Owner rude and abusive towards staff and other campers most probably to us but will not dare say anything in front if us. Language leaves a lot to desire ... 9.Lack of cleaning staff makes bathrooms undesirable 10. We have been at the site a month and certain parts of the lawns haven't been mowed 11.Fly traps were installed we we arrived and have not been replaced after being full..flies are massive problem. 12. Caravan park has three taps some stands must be at least 100 from taps

We now know why demand full payment before you arrive as of there no refund policy.

Conclusion: The caravan park is horse pasture non peak holiday months, it poses as a caravan camping site during peak seasons. Definately will advise anyone to find an alternative destination than this place. Remember to add the costs of purchasing drinking water to your budget when deciding to use this S#$%^*& hole With all the parks we have camped at for the past 10 years we rate this as the worst in S.A.
